YUZHNIY GOK is going through difficult times. Due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, changes have affected literally every aspect of the enterprise's activities. We faced a shortage of fuels and lubricants, problems with the supply of consumables and spare parts, and restrictions on the sale of marketable products.

Despite unprecedented new challenges, YUZHNIY GOK continues to work steadily. We mine ore and produce iron ore concentrate. The plant fully fulfills the production plan both in terms of volume and quality.

YUZHNIY GOK continues to implement the most important investment programs. The plant did not stop the main projects of development and modernization of production. Moreover, realizing the responsibility for the man-made impact on the environment, the company has put into effect a comprehensive environmental protection plan for 2022.

From the first days of the war, YUZHNIY GOK has been helping the territorial defense of Krivoy Rog. As of March 5, the combine handed over 109 czech hedgehogs to the city, 63 more are ready for shipment. Our volunteers organize the collection of food, warm clothes and essential goods for the defenders of Kryvbas.

Today, 3 priorities remain the main ones for the YUZHNIY GOK. First of all, it is the preservation of the life and health of employees. Then - ensuring the continuity of production. Finally, the regular payment of wages.

Over the 67 years of the company's history, the staff of the YUZHNIY GOK has learned to work in the most difficult conditions. We adequately survived the dashing 90s, when, due to the break in the chains of economic cooperation, the enterprise was teetering on the verge of a complete stop. We continued to work when the Coronavirus epidemic hit the world. And today our team of many thousands is able to overcome any difficulties and upheavals.

The staff of the YUZHNIY GOK was, are and will forever remain a strong, strong and cohesive team. I am grateful to all the employees who, despite the difficulties, continue to work selflessly in the shops and management of the plant. I believe in a quick victory over the enemy and our peaceful future!
