The «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant pays special attention to the development of the social infrastructure of the housing estate of the «UGOK» Mining and Processing Plant and the Novolativka united territorial community. The company invests in education, medicine and housing. The purpose of the plant is simple and clear: for successful work it is also important to help the city where the employees live. «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant seeks to create comfortable living conditions for residents of Kryvyi Rih and neighboring villages, as well as for education and upbringing of their children.

Novolativka community is a territorial neighbor of the «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant. Many employees of the plant live in nearby villages. Given this, the task of the company’s management is to create a modern social infrastructure of settlements. To solve it, in 2017 the «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant for the first time concluded a Social Partnership Agreement with the Novolativka community. The plant has pledged to help local schools, kindergartens, as well as cultural and medical institutions.

In five years, the «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant has overhauled and insulated the facades of the school and kindergarten in the village of Novolativka, modernized the heating system in the educational complex of the village of Zelena Balka and the houses of culture of the settlement of Inhulets, and also repaired local outpatient clinics of family medicine. In addition, the miners provided summer vacations on the Black Sea coast for children living in the villages of the community.

In Kryvyi Rih, the «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant reconstructed the Savytskyi Park of Culture and Recreation, repaired the facades of buildings, and the road infrastructure of Pivdennyi Avenue and the Matrionivka housing estate. In 2020, the company renovated the street lighting of the neighborhood of the «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant, and arranged new bus stops. As part of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the plant, miners decorated with murals the facades of two houses at the entrance to the residential area.

In 2019, the «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant completed the renovation of the City Hospital No.11. The plant renovated the admission ward, as well as the departments of therapy, neurology, traumatology, radiography, magnetic resonance imaging, gastroenterology, physical therapy, pharmacy, the sanitary facilities, and also the courtyard of the medical institution.

Since 2013, the «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant has invested more than 110 million hryvnias in the social development of the region.
