Yuzhniy GOK invests in the development of social infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih

Yuzhny GOK continues to invest in the development of Krivoy Rog. The plant is modernizing the community's social infrastructure, helping the health care and education of the city. In 2021, the company will finance the renovation of public space, residential buildings and educational institutions.

The main social project of 2021 is the reconstruction of the Gornyatskaya Glory Square. The pedestrian zone is the center of the Yuzhiy GOK housing estate, a place for street festivals and public events. 3 thousand square meters of paths will be paved with new paving slabs, 28 street lamps will be installed, a lawn with drip irrigation will be laid.

Yuzhniy GOK allocated funds for the improvement of the recreation area in front of the houses at the intersection of Yuzhny Avenue and Podlepy Street. The territory will be laid out with artificial stone tiles. In 2020, with the support of the plant, the walls of the buildings were decorated with murals, which were named "The Future of YUGOK".

In early November, the plant's repair and construction department restored the facade of a family hostel located at 19, Yuzhny Avenue. Specialists plastered and painted the walls, restored elements of architectural decor.

The company also finances the improvement of the yards of the Yuzhniy GOK residential area. At the expense of the plant, the entrances will be insulated and the territory in front of the apartment buildings will be landscaped. Work has already begun at four addresses on Saltykovskaya Street and two on Panas Mirny.

The plant allocated funds for the restoration of the training workshops of the Polytechnic College. The educational institution is a specialized university for the training of railway workers for the enterprise. The restoration of the premises will help teachers teach students in a comfortable environment.

The company purchased new ventilation, kitchen and refrigeration equipment for four kindergartens. Yuzhniy GOK will also finance the installation of a playground for children with disabilities. The site will be located in the Savitsky Park and will become the first inclusive space in Krivoy Rog.
