Dear Colleagues!

On the eve of the new year 2024, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your dedication to your work, hard work and high professionalism.

2023 has become a time of strength tests and new challenges for «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant. At the beginning of summer, we were faced with an acute shortage of industrial and drinking water caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. But thanks to the implementation of anti-crisis measures and the coordinated work of our specialists, «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant did not stop and continued to work. Even in the face of full-scale war, our team demonstrated outstanding spirit and readiness to overcome any difficulties.

Despite all the obstacles last year, «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant was able to stabilize the production process. The plant's workload became more predictable and rhythmic last year. We have successfully restored and diversified the enterprise's supply chains with energy resources, spare parts, materials and equipment necessary for uninterrupted operation.

An important achievement of last year was the return of personnel who had previously been sent into forced downtime. Today we are working together again as a single team. The plant staff began to receive full wages. In addition, we have returned the monthly production bonus, and from July 2023, our employees can earn an additional team bonus.

One of the important events of the past year was the lifting of the blockade of the sea ports of Odessa. Thanks to this, starting in the fall of 2023, «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant regained the ability to ship commercial products to foreign markets via the Black Sea. Over the course of a year, the plant's workload increased from 25-30% to 70% of the pre-war level. I will say with cautious optimism that plans for 2024 give hope for maintaining high production volumes.

Along with fulfilling production tasks, we continue to fully assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine and our mobilized employees. We believe in the strength and invincibility of our military and wish them a speedy return home.

I wish you, dear colleagues, that in 2024 the long-awaited victory over the Russian aggressor will come to Ukraine. Let this year become a time of comprehensive stabilization of life for the «YUZHNIY GOK» Mining and Processing Plant. Good mountain health, confidence in the future and prosperity to you and your families.
