«YUZHNIY GOK» acquired a Caterpillar bulldozer

YUZHNIY GOK (Kriviy Rih, Ukraine) puts into operation a new bulldozer of the American company CATERPILLAR. The machine was purchased at the end of 2021 for the needs of the mine management of the plant. The equipment is to be used in a quarry for the construction of technological roads, cleaning of faces and transshipment points.

The first Caterpillar D9R arrived at YUZHNIY GOK in 2015. During this time, the bulldozer proved to be a reliable and unpretentious special transport. Thanks to a 470-horsepower engine, combined with a specially designed transmission and working equipment, the machine is 10-15 percent more productive than its counterparts.

The sprung undercarriage provides increased traction and smooth running. The differential steering function allows you to maneuver without losing speed. The machine was also equipped with automatic control systems for the blade and ripper.

The cabin is equipped with a microclimate system, an adjustable seat with a thickened back and cushion. For the convenience of the driver and reduce fatigue, the bulldozer controls are located on the sides of the seat. A large glass area contributes to good visibility, which is especially important when maneuvering and performing work with increased accuracy.

Caterpillar D9R is the fourth American manufacturer's bulldozer purchased by YUZHNIY GOK. The company commissioned the previous CAT in 2019. The combination of high power, excellent controllability and ease of maintenance allows the machines to achieve high productivity at low unit costs.

Recall: investments in the development of the  YUZHNIY GOK in 2021 amounted to about UAH 5 billion. This is the highest figure in the last 10 years. The main volume of investments was directed to increase the production capacity of the plant, improve the quality of marketable products, and upgrade the fleet of equipment.
